The Analysts’ Dilemma: maintaining standards in radiochemistry under future regulation

Introduction
The aim of the day is to review how radiochemists assure quality in the UK, Europe and the USA and the issues of operating as suppliers and customers under current and future accreditation and regulation. The programme is highly relevant to areas throughout the nuclear sector including nuclear waste and decommissioning, nuclear medicine, radioanalytical services, instrumentation, standards, reference materials and proficiency testing. The structure of the day will be a series of 20 minute talks followed by a discussion panel. Invited speakers have been selected for their knowledge of the future needs, problems and quality requirements of the nuclear sector.
