Introduction

The course is run under the auspices of the Institute for Process Research and Development (iPRD). Experts from the field of chemistry and engineering work closely with the fine chemical and pharmaceutical industries, to develop technology which can improve manufacturing processes and thereby impact on costs, quality, productivity, waste and energy. The 3 day course provides an excellent introduction to Chemistry for anyone working at the Chemistry/Science/Engineering interfaces. It will also be very useful for anyone with a scientific background wishing to refresh their basic chemical knowledge.
