5th Annual UK Porous Materials Conference

Introduction
The UK PorMat meetings are organised by the Porous Materials Interest Group of the RSC, and act as a focal point for researchers working on all aspects related to porous materials, including synthesis/design, characterisation, applications, and modelling. They cover research on a wide variety of materials, including zeolites and zeotypes, Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs), Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs), porous silicas, porous carbons, porous polymers, porous organic cages, among others. 

The Conference will be held in Glasgow on 13th - 14th June 2022. In order to stay up to date with conference details we recommend following the conference Twitter account @UKPorMat and joining the RSC Porous Materials Interest Group (@RSCPorMat), which you can do here:

In-person registration and abstract submission are now closed. However, it is still possible to register for online-only attendance (includes only live-streaming of the oral presentations) until June 10th. We are also offering free online registration to to students and postdoctoral researchers based in low or middle income countries. Please see our dedicated website (www.ukpormat.com) for further details and an application form.

Several student bursaries were offered by the Porous Materials Interest Group - see conference website for details. The application process is now closed.

UK PorMat delegates are offered a £100 discount in registration fees for the Strathclyde Adsorption Summer School, which will be taking place in Glasgow on the days following the conference (15-17th June 2022).
