Formative Formulation 3

9 December 2022 08:30-16:00, Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Introduction
Formative Formulation 3 is the third installment in our successful series of meetings for Early Career Formulation Scientists. Our meetings offer a relaxed environment in which to share scientfic work and develop your professional network among academics and industrialists.

Formulation scientists are behind many of the food, personal care and pharmacological products that enrich our lives: this year some of our Invited talks will have a Food theme, highlighting a crucial and rapidly-progressing area of activity for formulation scientists.

This will be a friendly scientific meeting with a focus on networking, socialising, and participation. Our aim is to invigorate and enlarge our Early Career cohort (established at Formative Formulation in Cambridge in March 2019 and continued Online at Formative Formulation 2 in March 2021).

Plan for the day

The meeting will take place in the John McIntyre Conference Centre, and the foot of Arthur's Seat and a short walk from the centre of Edinburgh.

We will have 6 talks throughout the day: 4 Invited speakers and 2 speakers selected from abstract submissions. Talks will be 30 mins each and will be paired up and punctuated by coffee breaks, lunch and poster sessions.

At the end of the day we will make our way to Princes Street Gardens for mulled wine at Edinburgh's famous Christmas Market.

We invite all formulation scientists who identify as “early career” to join us in Edinburgh on 9th December
