Chemistry in the Oil Industry XVIII - "Chemistry and the Energy Transition"

6 - 8 November 2023, Manchester, United Kingdom

Introduction
*** REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN - CLICK THE "BOOK NOW" BUTTON ON THIS PAGE ***
*** FINAL PROGRAMME NOW AVAILABLE ***

Organised by the RSC Speciality Chemicals interest group, with continued valued support from the European Oilfield Speciality Chemicals Association, Chemistry in the Oil Industry is a 2-day technical conference offering high quality keynote speeches, oral and poster presentations plus the opportunity to network with peers and talk with exhibitors offering practical solutions. A welcome reception and Symposium dinner also form part of the event.

The theme for 2023 is "Chemistry and the Energy Transition". The industry faces key challenges with the shift towards clean energy. Industry expertise can, however, simultaneously reduce our own industry GHG emissions whilst accelerating deployment of renewable energy options. It is crucial to showcase how chemical technologies, developed within the oil and gas industry, can contribute to energy transition solutions whilst meeting safety and environmental standards.

The FINAL PROGRAMME can be downloaded from the "Downloads" section of this webpage. This is subject to change.

An exhibition will run alongside the conference. The SPONSORSHIP AND EXHIBITOR INFORMATION PACK can be downloaded from the "Downloads" section of this webpage.

The Symposium is open to relevant RSC members and non-members. The event will be of particular interest to:
