Introduction

This full day at Imperial College London aimed at Year 12 students introduces A-Level Chemists to what it is like to be an Undergraduate in the Chemistry Department. The morning starts with a hands-on experience in the laboratory, as they will ask you conduct a 1st year Undergraduate practical either in pairs or on your own. After lunch, you will be taken on a departmental tour, have a chat with the admissions tutor, an opportunity to listen to current UG students talk about university life and ask questions. The day will conclude with a lecture from one of the academics from the department who will talk about their current research.
