Welcome to the 7th ChIR Symposium, celebrating a decade of the ChIR Erasmus Mundus Project!
For a decade, the Erasmus Mundus MSc in Chemical Innovation and Regulation (ChIR) has united minds from diverse disciplines, cultures and backgrounds, with the aim of studying and researching how to achieve safety and sustainability in chemistry.
This year the symposium will commemorate the success of the program while providing an opportunity for alumni, researchers, current students, and industry professionals to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new horizons in chemical innovation and regulation.
The event will be streamed online, allowing those who cannot travel to Faro the opportunity to follow it remotely. Registration is necessary and free of charge both for online and in person participants.
Why participate in the ChIR Symposium?
- This is a great opportunity for students, researchers and professionals involved in chemical safety to present and discuss concerns related compliance with international chemical regulations, to contact directly with the specific needs of industrial stakeholders, and to learn about recent research developments on the fields of chemical safety and sustainability.
- Keynote presentations by successful ChIR alumni currently in industry and regulatory bodies.
- Presentations of research theses by the Erasmus Mundus MSc in Chemical Innovation and Regulation finalist students.
- Poster presentation session on chemical safety and sustainability.
- Free registration.
Does your work involve dealing with international regulations on chemical safety? Is your research related to the toxicity or environmental impact of chemicals? Are you concerned with the safety of chemicals in general? We invite you to join us in Faro, in person or online, for the 7th ChIR Symposium!
