Introduction

IEC-2024 is for all professionals involved in the fundamental science of explosives and energetic materials.  IEC-2024 is divided into 6 themes. 

• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Simulation and Computing
• Synthesis and Manufacturing
• Space Programme
• Sustainability and Toxicology
• Novel Explosives

The conference is based on science that underpins a deeper understanding of explosives, propellants, pyrotechnics and gas generators, We invite all, from early careers through to subject matter experts to be involved.  Peer reviewed papers from the conference proceedings will be published by the RSC.
