Introduction
The RSC Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson Dalton Poster Symposium provides an opportunity for talented early career inorganic chemists (PhDs and postdocs) to present their work to the wider community and senior representatives from industry and academia. If you are a PhD student or a postdoctoral researcher working in inorganic chemistry then you can submit an abstract and take part in this exciting event.
 
Attending this event will help you make research connections for future collaboration, raise your visibility and to engage with the wider topic area community. Poster presenters will have the opportunity to win significant prizes including bursaries to attend an international conference. A RSC Careers and Professional Development advisor will also be on hand to provide advice on navigating the next stages of your career.

The RSC Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson Dalton Poster Symposium is free to attend for successful applicants, who will also receive support for their travel to the meeting.

Bursaries

Poster presenters

Poster presenters will receive a bursary to support their travel to the meeting. Further details of the scheme and how to apply for the financial support will be provided to successful applicants with the registration information.

Grants for carers

With our Grants for carers, you can apply for up to £1,200 per year to help you attend a chemistry-related meeting, conference or workshop or a professional development event. This money would be used to cover any additional costs you incur, paying for care that you usually provide.  Please visit the website for further information and eligibility criteria.

Accessibility grants

With our Accessibility grants, you can apply for up to £1,200 per year to help with the cost of specific support to attend a chemistry-related meeting, conference, workshop or professional development event. This support might be any form of equipment, service, or other personal expense associated with meeting your access needs.
