The series of International Conferences on Microreaction Technology (IMRET) started in 1997 with IMRET 1 being held in Frankfurt, Germany. Since that time sixteen IMRET conferences have been organized alternately in Europe, in North America, Asia, and Australia.
We are pleased to announce that IMRET 17 will be held from October 27-30, 2024, in Graz, Austria. IMRET17 will follow the tradition of having plenary lectures, keynotes/invited talks in addition to contributed oral presentations in parallel sessions and poster presentations. An exhibition will also showcase the latest advances in microreaction technologies and related fields. Keeping with tradition, we are also planning on having optional excursions on Wednesday afternoon.
Undoubtedly, the field of microreaction technology has seen enormous advances over the past 25 years, with many new applications on the horizon.
TOPICS:
Reactions and (bio)catalysis in flow systems
Electrochemistry, fuel cells
Fabrication of micro-structured devices, additive manufacturing / 3D-printing
Process automation, digitalisation, intelligent control strategies
Modular plant/standardisation concepts and scale-up/industrial implementation
Modelling / Simulation
Mixing and heat transfer in micro systems
Microextrusion, small-scale solid manufacturing
Downstream processing, formulation (nano/micro)
