Designed to entertain and inspire primary school children, the show will introduce audiences to the wonderful world of science by showcasing some of our favourite chemistry experiments.
You can expect to be amazed by thermal clocks, cold light, fire, whoosh bottles and a whole lot more. Please be aware that there will be bright flashes during some of the demonstrations.
The show will be led by Dr Anna Kirkham, Senior Lecturer in Forensic Chemistry, assisted by some of our forensic science students.
Prepare for your senses to be overloaded and your enthusiasm for chemistry ignited. Who knows? Maybe we’ll inspire your pupils to become scientists in the future!
Show 1 - 10am – 11am
Show 2 - 11.30am - 12.30pm
Show 3 - 1.15pm - 2.15pm
Places are limited to 60 people per school (including staff).
