Warwick Battery Days (WBD) 2024

Introduction
Warwick Chemistry and Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) are jointly hosting the very first edition of the Warwick Battery Days at the University of Warwick, Coventry, on June 20-21. WBD 2024 will bring together experts from the experimental and computational battery research community as well as the from the industry, aiming to facilitate discussions on the current state-of-the-art in the field and the future directions based on industrial and societal needs.

Registration Fee

The registration fee covers on-site accommodation for two nights (19 and 20 June), all meals, refreshments, coffee-breaks, and the poster session. The conference dinner is optional with the additional fee of £50, payable during the registration.

The rate for industry participants is £350 which includes the 2-night accommodation.

Abstract submission

You can submit poster abstracts through this page. Some of the abstract will be selected for short contributed talks. Please indicate your preference for your abstract to be considered for a contributed talk in the submission form.

Student bursaries:

There is a limited number of bursaries for students (registration fee waiver and a contribution to the travel costs). To apply for a student bursary, please send your CV, a short personal statement, briefly explaining your research project and why you would like to join this event, signed by you and your supervisor to wbd2024@warwick.ac.ukLink opens in a new window. Poster prizes:

Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) are kindly sponsoring three poster prizes of RSC book vouchers, 1 x J Mat Chem A, 1 x Nanoscale and 1 co-sponsored by Sustainable Energy & Fuels and Energy Advances.
