RSC Analytical Biosciences Group Annual General Meeting 2024

20 November 2024 14:00-18:00, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
The Analytical Biosciences Group will be holding our 79th Annual General Meeting on the 20th November 2024. The meeting will take place at the University College London and will also be live streamed via an online platform. The meeting is open to all group members and external guests and aims to engage early career researchers in debate and discussions about all areas of analytical biosciences, and provide the opportunity to network with other researchers in the field.

In our group we aim to give our members a broad perspective of the current state of the art for analytical techniques, with detailed examples of their applications in biosciences. As such, each contribution will aim to demonstrate the quality and value of each methodology.

As a part of our AGM, we will have two keynote speakers, one of them an early career researcher.

ECR speaker: Nafiz Biswas (PhD researcher, University of Warwick)
'Overcoming the Challenges of Electrochemical pH Sensing'

Plenary speaker: Tania Read (Assistant Professor, University of Warwick)
'Boron Doped Diamond Sensors for Bioanalytical Applications'

The AGM is a perfect opportunity to join and contribute to the discussion if you have not joined before. We welcome all members to join us in person, but this will a hybrid event, and so can also be accessed remotely for our members.

We hope to see you there!
