Introduction

A talk from the Chief Scientist at Victrex Dr. John Grasmeder. The talk will discuss who Victrex is, what they do and then an array of topics from polymer science, products and sustainability targets.

Aims of the event include:

• Education of polymer science/industry
• Demonstration into how polymer products can be used for sustainable solutions 
• Highlighting of what Victrex and other industries are doing to shape the future of science, including sustainability, outreach, amongst other themes.

The event is aimed at all levels of science competency as well as academics and industry.

18:30: Arrival and socialising with snacks/soft drinks/teas etc
19:00: Talk from Dr. John Grasmeder 
20:00: finish 

The event will be hosted by Victrex in Thornton Cleveleys and can cater for up to 100 attendants.
