IP careers for students of chemical and biological sciences

Introduction
This webinar will explore the IP-related careers that might be particularly suited to people with a background in chemical and biological sciences. We’ll hear from patent attorneys, IP solicitors and IP Office patent examiners about their roles in the IP system, learning about the importance of IP in protecting innovation in this important field, in particular through patents. There will be insights from both private practice and in-house workplaces, covering all aspects of protecting and exploiting IP from invention mining through to litigation.

The event will be useful for anyone who has, is studying for, or intends to study for a degree in chemical sciences, biological sciences and related subjects. This webinar is also of value for individuals working in these scientific fields and considering a career change.
