As part of SCI YCP’s “Highlights in…” series, this event will celebrate recent advances in modern organic synthesis, providing an exciting overview of new methodologies and industrial applications. Held over two days, the meeting will explore two hot topics: Catalysis, and Photo- and electrochemistry. Research discussed will range from asymmetric catalysis to photocatalysis to computational studies of organometallic catalysts.
The meeting will comprise of short talks from early career researchers and recently appointed academics, and keynote lectures from established researchers in academia and industry. All talks will be followed by a chance to ask questions and networking opportunities allow a possible exchange of ideas.
Delegates will be able to register for either one day or both days of the event.
This event will be of interest to those working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or agrochemical industries who want to develop their knowledge in key areas of organic synthesis. It is also aimed at those in academia, particularly graduates and post-graduates with a background in synthesis and catalysis.
