The series hosts renown speakers from the academia, industry and the regulators advocating the application of holistic analytical approaches in biomarker discovery in life, plant and food sciences.
The meeting is the continuation of successful meetings that started in Thessaloniki in 2008, moved to Athens (2012) and Patras (2014) and returned to Thessaloniki (2016, 2019). We intend to bring again high level presentations to further promote knowledge transfer with special focus on application in clinical chemistry and diagnostics. Selected presentations will highlight the potential and the benefits of bringing metabolomics biomarker discovery closer to clinical practice.
Developments on analytical methods, data treatment strategies and tools will also be illustrated. Selected software could be shown in live action. Our scope is to generate direct discussion and interaction among the participants. We plan for 40 oral presentations (ca. 12 will be selected from abstract submissions) and up to 70 posters.
