17th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry - A Marcus Wallenberg Symposium

15 June 2025 15:00 - 18 June 2025 15:15, Uppsala, Sweden

Introduction
The 17th International Symposium on Applied Bioinorganic Chemistry - A Marcus Wallenberg Symposium (ISABC17) will be held in Uppsala, Sweden, 15-18 June 2025.

Building on the legacy of previous ISABC meetings in Ioannina (2023), Nara (2019), Toulouse (2017), Galway (2015), and Guangzhou (2013), which trace their origins back to the inaugural event in Wuhan in 1990, ISABC17 promises to be a cutting-edge event in our field. The conference program includes a diverse range of plenary, keynote and invited speakers from research institutions worldwide, focusing on the latest developments in Bioinorganic Chemistry and its applications. Specifically, the Symposium will cover the following topics:

• Bioinorganic chemistry for energy applications
• Bioinspired coordination chemistry
• Sensing, imaging and biological tools
• Inorganic chemistry in human health and disease
• Inorganic chemistry of drugs and medicines
• Metalloenzymes and artificial enzymes
• Methods in bioinorganic chemistry

We look forward to seeing you at ISABC17!
