The conference will start with an update on the state of the art in the breakdown and the extraction of useful materials from biomass using microwaves, sonochemistry, green solvents, supercritical water and super critical CO2.
Delegates then have an opportunity to attend a workshop. Here they will be shown how such techniques can be used to produce novel raw materials from plant matter.
