On the tour you will learn about the vineyard and how we use the climate to our advantage. Your visit will continue in the winery where you will be led through the winemaking processes we use for our still, white, red and rosé wines. We will also show you how we make our sparkling wines according to the traditional method pioneered in Champagne and perfected in England. The tours finish back at the wine store where you will be invited to partake in a fascinating tutored tasting session.
Following the tour and tasting, a two course supper will be served in the adjoining Swan restaurant. Of course, there's also time for a glass or two with your meal! The whole visit, including the supper will start at 6pm, takes 4 - 4½ hours and should finish no later than 11.00pm.
The tour will involve walking outside so please wear appropriate footwear. It is also advised that the tour may be difficult for infirm visitors and is not suitable for wheelchair users.
