Setting the scene
The pH of a solution is a measure of the concentration of H+ ions in solution. In this experiment, a series of solutions are prepared by dilutions, where each solution prepared is ten times as concentrated/dilute as its neighbour. The students can use full range Universal Indicator to check the pH of these solutions.
