Recent Appointees in Physical Chemistry meeting

On 6-8 September 2022, the University of York hosted the Recent Appointees in Physical Chemistry meeting. Organised by Katherine Manfred, Julia Sarju, and Terry Dillon the meeting was a great success.

In total, there were 21 attendees, from 14 different affiliations. The programme included invited presentations on:

• Academic life wellbeing and progression (Claire Vallance, University of Oxford)
• Research Funding (Helen Niblock, EPSRC)
• T&S Funding (Julia Sarju, University of York)
• Innovations in Physical Chemistry Teaching (Chris Armstrong, University of Hull)
• Chemistry Outreach (Annie Hodgson, University of York)

The next meeting will be held in 2024.
