Biography

I have solid expertise combined with general knowledge in highly interdisciplinary topics at the borderline of chemistry, materials science, and medicine. I dealt with natural and synthetic biologically active ingredients, olefin polymerisation catalysts, and volatile functional coating precursors; developed innovative materials and technologies, and managed multidisciplinary projects.

I am adept in several different areas of chemistry, such as inorganic, organic, and polymer chemistry, chemistry of natural compounds, nanotechnology, noble metal recovery, and nanomaterials for biomedical applications. I master different analytical and characterisation techniques (spectroscopic, spectrometric, diffractometric, and chromatographic) for structural and functional characterisation of compounds and materials.

I am proficient (15+ years of experience) in organisation of multidisciplinary consortia, coordination of collaborative European projects, evaluation of R&I and capacity building proposals as well as monitoring of running EU projects under the FP7, Horizon 2020, and Horizon Europe. I am an expert for funding bodies in several EU member states and the ICGEB.
