Biography

I have 30 years’ experience within the water treatment industry. This includes the treatment of cooling towers, steam boilers, closed-loop systems and effluent plants. My experience also includes formulation chemistry of the water treatment chemicals used and the safety requirements from manufacturing through to use on site.

I specialise in water compliance within domestic water systems and the management of Legionella by undertaking audits of the water management system. I produce water safety plans and written schemes and advise on the compliance of water in complex systems. I also provide services as an Authorised Engineer (Water) for healthcare trusts in the compliance of water systems. I am a Committee Member of the Water Management Society and an auditor for the Legionella Control Association. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, a Chartered Member of IOSH, an Associate Member of IEMA and a Senior Member of the Water Management Society.
