Helping create patentable inventions;
Training staff on the Commercial role of Patents and IP;
Stimulating innovative activity; and
Drafting and filing and prosecuting patent applications.
The emphasis is on the commercial role of patents in chemical businesses and facilitating chemists in realising these.
Experience in polymer chemistry, fine chemical, formulation chemistry, consumer goods, inorganics; but not biochemistry or pharma.
