Biography
Nicole Graulich is currently Assistant Professor for Chemistry Education at the Justus-Liebig-University Gießen and Head of the Institute of Chemistry Education. She earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry and has taught High School (French and Chemistry) in Germany. She has been at Clemson University, South Carolina (USA) for her post-doctoral studies.
Nicole's research focuses on students’ reasoning while learning organic chemistry at the tertiary level and on investigating productive teaching and learning environments. Her research approaches include modern technologies, such as diagnosing and supporting students’ learning with eye-tracking methods. She is a recipient of the Ars Legendi Award for excellence in teaching. Visit Nicole's research group.
