This themed collection aims to bring together the latest supramolecular peptide and protein systems advances. We are looking for work that blends fundamental research with practical applications, covering the design and applications of peptide and protein-based systems. These systems are increasingly being recognized as powerful tools in a variety of fields, including drug development, biomaterials, nanotechnology, and diagnostics. Contributions integrating knowledge from chemistry, biology, physics, and materials science are highly encouraged, as they are crucial for advancing our understanding and the practical applications of supramolecular peptide and protein systems. We invite a broad range of submissions, including original research articles, reviews, and perspectives. Topics may include, but are not limited to:
Manuscripts should be submitted via our online submission service and the editorial office informed by email. Please add a “note to the editor” in the submission form when you submit your manuscript to say that this is a submission for this themed collection. The Editorial Office and Guest Editors reserve the right to check the suitability of submissions in relation to the scope of the collection and inclusion of accepted articles in the collection is not guaranteed. All manuscripts will be subject to the journal's usual peer review process. Accepted manuscripts will be added to the online collection as soon as they are online, and they will be published in a regular issue of Materials Advances. |
