This year celebrates the 70th birthday of Prof. Giuseppe Resnati, a distinguished scientist whose pioneering contributions to organic, bio-organic, coordination, materials, and supramolecular chemistry have profoundly shaped these fields. Throughout his illustrious career, he has (co)-authored numerous high-impact publications, with a particular emphasis on fluoroorganic chemistry and the pivotal role of weak interactions. More recently, Prof. Resnati has served as co-chair of IUPAC Task Groups, leading the efforts to establish the official definitions of fundamental noncovalent interactions. All submissions related to or inspired by Prof. Resnati’s body of work are encouraged. This call for papers is open for the following article types:
If you would like to contribute to this themed collection, please answer the themed collection question in the submission form when uploading your files to say that this is a contribution to the themed collection and add a “Note to the Editor” that this is from the Open Call. The Editorial Office reserves the right to check suitability of submissions in relation to the scope of both the journal and the collection, and inclusion of accepted articles in the final themed issue is not guaranteed This themed collection will honour Prof. Resnati's outstanding contributions to the discipline, and will feature publications in three journals: NJC, PCCP and CrystEngComm. We encourage authors to contact the Editorial Office of the relevant journal regarding the suitability of manuscripts to this collection. |
